Since 1991, Kaack has been acting as intermediary for contracts on the commodity futures markets. Our company started out trading potatoes and lean hogs on the Amsterdam agricultural futures exchange.
In 1998, we expanded our activities to the RMX Hanover. Since 2006, the brokering of futures for grains and rapeseed on the MATIF in Paris has been constantly on the rise. In July of 2009, the former RMX exchange for lean hogs, feeder pigs and potatoes was taken over by the EUREX in Frankfurt. Also as a result of extended co-operations with trans-regional banks and clearing houses, 2010 and 2011 showed an increase of trading with other commodities on international exchanges. Today, our focus is on the grain and oilseed markets, as well as the potato segment. In 2010, Kaack Terminhandel GmbH moved its business location to Cloppenburg, Germany.
